The cottage was in Swansea in the Mumbles. We were in such a lovely location, 10 minutes walk from the sea and 2 minutes walk from the village shops. I really think this cottage would be wonderful to stay at in the summer as it has that beach vibe. But it is still in a great location even in the worst of weathers as there are lovely walks either along the beach or just round the village. It has two bed rooms, one king size and one two single bed room. A homely size living room with a TV and a lot of space. Great size kitchen with a dinning table in the kitchen as the kitchen is that big. It also has a lovely size bath room with a shower and bath. The garden also has a place to sit and to enjoy the view. We were so impressed with the cottage that said we would go back there again in the future.
Me and mum go to Swansea a lot as it is her home town and also where most of my family live. So it was nice to spend the whole weekend there this time instead of just a day.
We started the weekend off with getting there around 3pm and just relaxing. Mum took our dog Molly with her for a walk and I stayed and watched TV and enjoyed a nice hot bath. The next day we met up with Freya in town and she came back with us and we talked for hours until out family members came round for dinner. Uncle Dave, Aunt Sandy, Nanny and Bampy. Mum cooked us up a storm of chili, rice, chicken and bacon. It was lush I have to say. The next day we went for a walk for lunch at the beach and said goodbye to Freya and see her tomorrow. On the last day Sunday, it was her 18th birthday party which was lovely. Lots of food and people. When that finished me and mum went home. As we went home I felt great as the weekend was perfect and I couldn't of asked for a better weekend really.
If you want to have a nice get away and you are looking for some great deals go to this website and you'll find some great places in Swansea. https://www.gowergetaways.co.uk/
