M - The Matrix Trilogy

The Matrix trilogy are the types of films that really gets you thinking whether it's real or not. Scary thing is as well that it could be true and we wouldn't know about it. For it's time it was revolutionary but being made in 1999 you might not think so, so when watching these films you will have to bare in mind of when they were made. First of all let me explain what the Matrix is and then I'll get into detail about the films. The Matrix is a computer system where all human kind is trapped in but all the humans think that what they are inside of is real life. But only a select few people know the truth.

The first film is where you really get to know the main charactors and why they are so important. A cumpter hacker (Neo) learns from mysterious freedom fighters about the truth behind what reality really is like and why his role in the war against their conrollers is so important. It's an action sifi movie with bad ass fight sences and amazing concept. The acting is so on point to with the starring roles Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The second film gives you a more understanding about what the Matrix really is. It gose into more depth about the war between the humans and machine. Neo and the freedom fighters estimate that they have 72 hours until 250,000 probes discover Zion and destory it and everyone in it. During this Neo must decide how he can save Trinity from the dark fate from his dreams. This film carrys on with the bad ass fight sences and focses more on Neo's role as 'THE ONE'.

The last film is about the human city Zion having to defend itself against the massive invasion of machines as Neo fights to end the war at another front while also opposing the rogue Agent Smith. It is a great triology but the last film isn't as good as the other two. But it is still worth watching them all as then you will get more of an idea of the whole story. The first two films of a triolgy are uswally the better films anyway. So I wasn't so shocked about this. But they did keep the bad ass fighting in it that did make me happy.

The best part of this film has to be the unique concept which makes you second guess reality and question your exsistance! Thank you for reading, I hope you have enjoyed today's blog.

What did you think of this triology? If you haven't seen it before, what triolgy would you recomend me to watch?
