P - Peanut butter cookies

James love peanut butter and cookies so I thought why not make peanut butter cookies so he can have both at the same time. So if you love peanut butter than you will love these. It's a simple recipe that you can do at home and here is how you do it. It serves 12.

You will need:-

50 grams of soft light brown sugar

50 grams of caster sugar

50 grams unsalted butter (soft)

1 medain egg

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

200 grams peanut butter crunchy

100 grams plain flour

1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1 teaspoon salt


This is how you make it:- 

1. Pre-heat the oven to 170 decrease.
2. Measure out and combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
3. Cream together the butter and sugars until mixed.
4. Add in the egg, vanilla, honey and peanut butter. Blend until smooth.
5. Add in the dry ingredients and mix well. The batter is quiet thick, you'll know it's mixed well when your arm starts to hurt.
6. Using a generous rounded tablespoon fulls, place into a roughly circular shapes on a baking tray. This should make 12.
7. Put into the center of the oven for 10-12 minutes. Doing 10 minutes gives you a slight crunch on the outside and a velvety smooth inside. But for people that prefer a crunchier cookie, do 12 minutes but no more other wise they will burn.

  1. Looks very yummy. You can use King Arthur Gluten Free Flour to make this gluten free.

    The only problem with peanut butter cookies is that I never make enough.
