W - What I do to help de stress


Being stressed is one of the worst things you can be as it can course mental health and illnesses. But being stressed can also be healthy as everyone gets stressed from time to time. It's all about how to control that stress and to not let it effect you or stop you from doing something. So I thought to myself what things do I do to help de stress that might help others that are struggling or might want another method.

One of the things I love doing is breathing techniques because it really helps to reduce your heart rate and helps to clam your body. First things first you need to lie down with your knees bent in a 90 degree angle and your arms down by your side. If you are unable to do this then you can always do it sat up in a chair or even stood up depending on what you are doing and your environment. I just find lying down with your knees bent helps me a lot when it comes to breathing. When you've got the position that you want you need to breath in for 4 hold for 4 and out for 7. You can also change the amount you do depending you what you feel works best for you. I usually do it about 5-10 times.

If you are a creative person like me then doing something like drawing is great as it helps you to distract from what is stressing you out in the first place and you can let your imagination go wild. You can draw what you are feeling, what's stressing you out or even something totally different. Doesn't matter as long as it helps. If you don't like drawing maybe do some painting or build something this can be good as well. Something small that doesn't take too much of your time but also helps.

For those for aren't so creative but love writing things like stories or in any other form doing it in a blog is a great way of distressing. As you can write down your thoughts and feelings like a dairy without using paper and you don't have to publish it if you don't want people to see. Also, it'll be there for you to see if you want to look back on it and reflect or something like that. I just write reviews on things I like and stuff like that.

Love nature then going for a walk is a great way of helping you distress. You have the fresh air in your lungs. What I do is just go for a 20-30 minute walk or even 10 just depending on the amount of time I have. But you can go for as long of a walk as you want depending on how long you have.

Everyday I do a 7 minute work out and that really helps me to get moving and it has really helped when I'm stressed as it helps to get rid of all that tension. So doing any sort of exercise weather that's going for a jog, gym or just simply jump roping. Anything will do.



So as you can see there are a lot of different things to help you distress for all different kinds of people. From active to creative. I hope this has given you some ideas and let me know if any of these has worked for you.
