Walking in the park | Pictures

Lately, I have really been getting into photography, so wherever I go I take pictures with whatever catches my eye. I've learnt a few things from asking people that know more about photography than me too. Such as the rule of thirds, how to edit and having colour in my shots. I am hoping as time goes on I will get to learn more and improve in taking pictures.

At the moment I use my Samsung phone camera, which isn't great. This means I have to edit my pictures massively before I upload them. Considering this I have been able to take some pretty cool pictures that I am pretty happy with. I thought I would show you what I took the other day when I went to the park.

Lately, there is a lot of street art popping up all over Cheltenham. This was my favourite one that I saw on the way to the park.

Walking around the lake was the most peaceful thing. You see and hear the ducks playing in the water. As you can see the water makes a great reflection coming off it.

I feel like sometimes that black and white pictures are better. It enhances the details in the picture. As you can see in the first one you can see the arm hair and details in the ring. On the second picture, you can see the details on the jeans and the leaves on the floor.

Going to the park with your friends and having a walk around is so lovely. You can chat, see the sights and take in the fresh air. We had a really good chat up and then it started to rain, which is really typical in England.

As you walk around you can really see some unique stuff. What really court my eye was through the pillars at the Pitvile Pump rooms was seeing Cleeve Hill. As we were hiding from the rain the flowers hanging from the roof of the little building were such a beautiful colour.

The last picture I was super lucky enough to catch the shot of the bird flying by between the trees. This is one of my favourites that I took of the day.

These are my pictures that I took when I went to the park. As you can see I can get some pretty nice shots and others I need more practice in. I just love looking around and seeing what catches my eye first and I just take a shot at it. Then looking back through my pictures I edit the ones that I like the best. When I'm with other people I don't like to take loads of pictures as I want to spend time with them and not spend my whole time doing so. But when I feel like I can I will take the shot that I want.

See you next time for another.

  1. Your walks in the park look far more interesting than mine. Lovely photos :)

    1. Only in that park. In Cheltenham there aren't many nice places to walk. But the ones that are nice are REALLY nice. Where about are you from?
