5 reasons why I love blogging

I have been blogging for two years now. On to my third year, I have to say I am really getting into the swing of uploading more regularaly and finding out what type of blog posts I love to create. Through a lot of trial and error, I now love pretty much all of my blog posts I have created. I love blogging about adventures I have been on, reviews on TV shows/films etc and talking about everyday life. Doing all of this I have found a huge passion in my blog that I never thought would happen. It's like my little baby that I'll protect forever!

Being passionate about something shows a lot about who you are as a person and I hope that blogging being mine it shows that I love to express myself. Not only express myself but tell you guys about it. I also hope that it shows I love to write about things (even though I'm not a professional writer). Regarding these things I hope that through all of it I show my personality to you guys, showing that I am somewhat interesting.

Let me start my, list, shall we....

1. Being able to express myself

As I have previously said I love to express myself and blogging does that for me. It enables me to say my thoughts and feelings in a way of my choice. Being able to express myself is super important to me as it allows me to be comfortable in myself as well as what I am doing. The way blogging allows you to express yourself is by letting your views, thoughts and feelings burst out into something you want to share with the internet.

2. The freedom of what I can write

Blogging is a great hobby of mine and it lets me have a lot of freedom in doing it. I can say what I want when I want. Freedom to do something seems rare nowadays as you get judged on a lot of stuff you do, but when blogging I don't feel like that, I feel free and happy.

3. Being creative with my blog

Creativity is something that's pretty big in my life as I am a creative person. I love being able to draw and write when I want to, it helps me to wind down after a long day. It's like something that I use to help relax. Writing isn't the first thing that pops into people's heads when thinking about being creative but being creative is creating something you love, whether that's a drawing, model of something and writing a story. Blogging allows me to write in a way that's not formal but in an interesting way.

4. Learning a new skill and developing it

For me, before blogging I didn't like writing anything so starting blogging I found it hard. Now it has become a useful skill. I can now write in a more interesting way and since joining a writers' group has also helped me with this. Both combined I have been able to help build up my skills of creative writing, which I love doing now! In time I am hoping it will improve more and more.

5. Blogging community

Last but not least the blogging community. I never thought that the blogging community would be so friendly and nice. I am a part of a few groups on Facebook and Google+ for bloggers and I've made a couple of friends through that. The people have been inspiring to me, showing me how much they have achieved helps to drive me to achieve better. They have been great for me to ask for advice on something that I am struggling with that the time such as, making my blog look good, how to better my content and how to reach out more.

As you can see there is a lot of great things about blogging and hopefully, you got a bit of an idea about why I am passionate about it. Even though I haven't been blogging long it's still been a great experience and I'm so glad I started doing it.

See you next time for another.

Meg!
