What Every Blog Post Needs

I have read a couple of blog posts where I can see what they don't really know what it is they are doing, in terms of creating blog posts. Some people seem to think that creating a blog post is easy. All you need to do is write about something and then add a couple of pictures. That couldn't be further from the truth.
If you are starting out a blog for the first time or just need a little help with how to do blog posts then this is why I am doing this blog post today. Now I must say before I start I am no expert. This is all from experience and research.

The main thing that every blog post needs are facts on information that you know about. Don't just write about something just for the sake of it. Really know what you are talking about. If you feel like you don't know enough do some research. I see a few blog posts where people have just babbled on about nothing. They look like they haven't put much care or thought into their posts.

Now the next thing I will be talking about is something that people have different opinions on. That is pictures. I feel like you need to make your blog posts look interesting. I feel like pictures help with that. They also help people to visualise what you are talking about. It's a good way of being able to break up your text a bit.

To make it easier for people to find your blog posts having a catchy title helps with this. It needs to say what you are talking about in your post. It needs to be relevant and try to steer away from a click-baiting title. People don't like that and they get annoyed. So it's best to play it safe and go for something that makes sense.

When writing blog posts to make sure that it is clear - using paragraphs is a good way of doing this. It breaks up the text and it makes it easier to follow. I know this is probably something that you might think is common sense but I do see some people not do this. I know this shocked me too.

The last thing that I think every blog post needs is character when writing. It makes it interesting for the viewers to read. If you don't know how to do this then try saying jokes or say things are are relatable to people. This will help draw people into your text.

See you next time for another.

Meg!
